In Remembrance~ Wordless Wednesday

In remembrance of the poor little baby birds that were so brutally murdered before they even had a chance to spread their wings and fly. Early one morning my daughter discovered their bodies on our back porch. Right now our suspects are Jasmine and Sammy, the two cats living in our house. We're still on the look out for these dangerous felines. So please contact us if you have any information.

We had some poor murdered baby birds too. We think it was a crow. One was still alive, but dropped on the ground, so we put it back in the nest, but the darn crows got it anyway. So sad.

Every year we have birds nesting in our trees and in a small opening above our porch. It always breaks my heart when something gets to their nests. :(

Awww . . . . that's really sad. Although I hate to see any animal hurt or dead on the street or sidewalk, birds really hurt my heart. I think it's because I feel that they are supposed to be free and flying so seeing them on the pavement really gets to me.

Yikes, better watch out for those menacing felines.

Have a good 4th.

Cats can't help it, they're just being cats the way God made them. Those birds need to beware and be smarter in finding where to nest.

oh, too bad about the baby birds. Ours got out of their nest and wandered into the garden and drowned in the pond. Perhaps I should have put a little baby-bird height fence around it?
I'll look into that for next spring.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend... I'll be having relatives and friends- they are not necessarily the same thing... and my mom over for a cookout. Yay?
