We've lived in our Salt Lake home for about 10 years now. When we first moved in it seemed to be the perfect home for us. It's an older home so of course we had a few ideas as far as updating goes, but the location, layout, size, was all just perfect. Over the years we've been remodeling like crazy. Right now we are in the process of remodeling our great room, lots of pics on that project coming soon. But today I wanted to show you how we turned out tiny little masterbath into an extreme make over. We basically opened the space above the garage and were able to create a massive walk in closet with space for a washer and dryer, sauna, steam room, and work our station. Who knew we had so much dead space available to expand this much.
So you see those white doors in the bathroom? That was our closet. It's like The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, behind those doors reveals a magical world we never knew existed.
NOW LOOK AT IT!
FUN FACT: I gave birth to my 4th child (Owen in this bath tub).
Here's a little bonus room we added. A place for a sauna and a little study desk. This area has turned into my little scripture study and blogging space. It's perfect.

It looks so amazing! You have a fabulous space!
Thank you so much Crystal
Great job!
What an excellent use of space in your home. I hope to update my own master bathroom soon; it’s been the same way since we purchased our house 14 years ago and I dislike it. There are other things I want to update but it’s one of my least favorite things about my home. I love that you turned your ideas into reality.
